The basics: since the early 90’s I’ve been working full-time in theatre, improv, bands, musicals, orchestras, film, television, advertising, and more. I was in LA for 25 years working with amazing artists and in creative settings that were unparralled in risk, truth, humor, and more.
Along the way, I developed a passion for the psychology of creativity, and got and MA in Clinical Psychology and an MFA in Creative Writing. My fulfillment has been in creating unusual works for the stage, improvising around the keys, working with singers and songwriters, and helping creatives to find the ways that knowing our psychology and brains helps in centering the quest, and in making really cool stuff.
Since the pandemic, I’ve been collaborating in a number of ways in Minneapolis -directing, writing, musical directing, and just playing the piano.
But now seems to be the time to move things in a stronger or at least unusual direction…
